KARACHI – Reham Khan, former wife of PTI founder Imran Khan, has officially stepped into politics by launching her own party – the Pakistan Republic Party (PRP).

Speaking at a press conference in Karachi, Reham said her new party would focus on electoral reforms, public accountability, and putting an end to dynastic politics. She strongly criticized the trend of politicians contesting elections from multiple seats and announced that under her party’s rules, no candidate will be allowed to run from more than one constituency.

“This is about fairness and giving everyone a real chance,” she said, adding that the same people keep returning to power through outdated and unfair practices.

Reham also promised that the PRP would bring forward new faces based on merit, with a focus on youth, women, and underrepresented communities. She said the party’s complete manifesto will be shared soon.

With her media background and bold political entry, Reham Khan’s move is seen as an attempt to offer voters an alternative to traditional parties.
