UNITED STATES – Pop star Justin Bieber has released his seventh studio album, Swag, on July 11, marking his first major project since 2021’s Justice and ending a four-year musical hiatus.

The release came as a surprise, teased only by enigmatic billboards in key cities including Los Angeles, New York, and Reykjavík. The album comprises 20 tracks and features collaborations with prominent artists such as Gunna, Sexyy Red, Cash Cobain, Lil B, Druski, Dijon, Eddie Benjamin, and gospel icon Marvin Winans.

Bieber, now 31 and a new father, describes Swag as “darker, more vulnerable and less polished” compared to previous projects—though not somber. The emotional depth reflects his personal journey, including health challenges and the birth of his son, Jack Blues, in August 2024. Production credits include Bieber himself, alongside a team of seasoned producers like Carter Lang, Dijon, and Daniel Caesar.

With this return, Bieber departs from two years of relative musical quiet, studio retreats in Iceland, and creative collaborations rooted in R&B. The album rollout included artistic direction by billboard teasers and visual storytelling featuring his young family.

Swag is now available globally on major streaming platforms.
