UNITED ARAB EMIRATES – The United Arab Emirates has reaffirmed its commitment to providing comprehensive visa facilitation and support for Pakistani nationals, strengthening bilateral cooperation and easing travel procedures between the two countries.
The assurance was given during a high-level meeting between UAE officials and Pakistan’s Ambassador to the UAE, Faisal Niaz Tirmizi. Emirati authorities conveyed their willingness to enhance consular services and streamline visa processes for Pakistani citizens, particularly in view of the significant Pakistani expatriate population residing in the Gulf nation.
Ambassador Tirmizi welcomed the UAE’s continued support and expressed gratitude for the longstanding ties between the two countries. He underscored the importance of Pakistani workers to the UAE economy and reiterated Pakistan’s readiness to deepen cooperation in multiple sectors, including labour, investment, and tourism.
The UAE officials also acknowledged the positive contributions of the Pakistani community and emphasised the country’s intent to maintain strong people-to-people and diplomatic ties with Pakistan.
