US Congress to vote today on COVID-19 package worth $900b
WASHINGTON: In the United States, Congress will vote on Monday on COVID-19 package worth 900 billion dollars to provide aid to economy and individuals battered by the pandemic.
It comes as the pandemic accelerates, infecting more than 214,000 people in the country each day with more than 317,000 Americans already died.
The package includes money for businesses and unemployment programs.
