UN plans to hold Afghan ministerial pledging conference at Geneva

GENEVA: The United Nations has plans to hold two-day Afghan ministerial pledging conference from tomorrow at Geneva.

The meeting will be partly virtual but will still require accommodating 50 people at the UNHQ building.

Ministers from about 70 countries and officials of humanitarian organizations, at the conference are expected to pledge billions of dollars to safeguard development projects in Afghanistan.
