UN Libya envoy voices optimism ahead of talks in Tunisia

TUNIS: Libya's warring factions are holding peace talks in Tunisia today, which are aimed to unify the country under a single executive and pave the way for national elections.

The talks are being held under the supervision of United Nations Support Mission in Libya.

The two main factions signed a landmark ceasefire agreement last month, opening the way for end to years of political deadlock.
