UN-led Libya talks ended without naming an interim government

TRIPOLI: In Libya, rival sides wrapped up a week-long UN-brokered talk without agreeing on an interim government that would lead the county to an election in December next year.

UN acting envoy for Libya Stephanie Williams told reporters in Tunisia that the participants of 75-member forum agreed to hold the vote in December next year, but failed to name a transitional administration to lead the war-torn country.
