UN calls on Afghanistan to take early decisive action to prevent killings of HR activists in country
NEW YORK: United Nations has called on Afghanistan to take early decisive action to prevent killings of human rights activists in the country.
In a statement, UN human rights expert, Mary Lawlor said killing of human rights activists is a tragedy for society and urged government to urgently put in place an effective national protection mechanism.
