WASHINGTON: The US Special Representative for Afghanistan Reconciliation, Zalmay Khalilzad has said that targeted killings in Afghanistan are threat for peace process.
In a tweet, he urged the negotiating parties to redouble their efforts because Afghan people want peace and we stand ready to help them.
Zalmay Khalilzad also condemned the killing of Yousef Rasheed, the Executive Director of a non-governmental organization Free and Fair Election Foundation, who was shot dead in Kabul on Wednesday.
