KARACHI: The provincial coordination and implementation committee has decided to revamp water supply system in Karachi by closing hydrants, eliminating illegal connections and improving wall man system in the city.
The decision was taken in a meeting of the Committee with Sindh chief minister Syed Murad Ali Shah in the chair in Karachi on Saturday.
The meeting was attended by local bodies minister Syed Nasir Shah, education minister Saeed Ghani Chief secretary Sindh, corps commander Karachi, GOC, Commander FWO and other officials concerned.
It was also decided that a consultant will be appointed to improve the capacity of Dadu dam.
The meeting decided that work will be restarted on K-IV project by removing all the barriers in the way of the project.
