Resolution by UN on protection of religious sites manifestation of joint efforts of Pakistan, Saudi Arabia: Ashrafi
ISLAMABAD: Special Representative to the Prime Minister on Religious Harmony Hafiz Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi says adoption of a resolution regarding protection of religious sites by the United Nations is manifestation of joint efforts of Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
In a statement on Saturday, he said passage of the resolution is testimony to the fact of Pakistan's strong relations and successful foreign policy with the Islamic countries. He said holy places of minorities are being desecrated in India.
