LAHORE: A colourful certificates distribution ceremony for the young artists was held at Alhamra Hall 1 here on Wednesday at Alhamra Art Centre, the Mall Road. 

Secretary Information and Culture Raja Jahangir Anwar graced the ceremony as chief guest of the event.

On the occasion, Raja Jahangir Anwar praised the efforts of Lahore Arts Council to promote the youth and said that talent of our young artists is playing a key role in the development and prosperity of the country.

Executive Director LAC Saman Rai said that the young artists of Alhamra Academy of Performing Arts are our actual assets. She said that we have done record work in the last six months. She said our cultural activities continue day and night, with a strong focus on encouraging art and artists, especially young people.

Director General DGPR Dr Muhammad Aslam Dogar, Director Art and Culture Alhamra Zulfiqar Ali Zulfi and other artist and staff of Alhamra also participated in the event.
