ISLAMABAD: President Dr. Arif Alvi has expressed the hope that renowned Pakistani mountaineer Muhammad Ali Sadpara and his co-climbers are alive and fine.
In a tweet on Saturday, he said they are very brave mountaineers and we pray for their safety.

Meanwhile, Chairman Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation Syed Zulfiqar Abbas Bukhari, in a statement, said search and rescue teams are actively looking for Muhammad Ali Sadpara, John Snorri and JP Mohr despite unfavourable weather conditions.
He said with the support of Pakistan Army, we will do everything possible to get them home safely.
Zulfiqar Abbas Bukhari appealed to the nation to pray for safe return of the climbers.
