KARACHI: Religious scholar and the Chancellor of Jamia Binnoria Mufti Muhammad Naeem passed away due to heart failure in Karachi on Saturday night. He was 65.
President Dr Arif Alvi, Prime Minister Imran Khan, Governor Sindh Imran Ismail and Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah expressed their deep grief and sorrow over the sad demise of Mufti Naeem.
The prime minister, in his condolence message, prayed for the high ranks in Jannah for the departed soul and expressed his sympathies with the bereaved family.
Mufti Naeem was also a member of the executive committee of Wafaqul Madaris al-Arabia
