Polls underway to elect next president of Tajikistan
DUSHANBE: In Tajikistan, voters are going to the polls today to elect next president of the country.
A total of five candidates including the sitting President Emomali Rakhmon are in the run for the slot.
According to schedule, if no candidate receives an absolute majority of votes, a second round will be held within one month.
