ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Ijaz Ahmad Shah has said police is the first line force for maintenance of law and order in the country.
Addressing the passing out parade of ASP officers at National Police Academy in Islamabad on Friday, he said police has been fighting terrorism in different areas including Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He said the force has made a lot of sacrifices in the war against this menace.
The Minister said the police force always remains under criticism and it is the responsibility of its personnel to work in such a manner that improves its image.
