KARACHI: Pakistan Stock Exchange above the 98,000 mark on Friday as share prices surged more than 2,000 points in intraday trade
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has strongly condemned the assassination of Iranian scientist Mohsen Fakhrizadeh in Tehran.
In a statement today, Foreign Office Spokesperson Zahid Hafeez Choudhari said that Pakistan extends sincere condolences to the family members of Fakhrizadeh and to the Iranian people.
He said that such acts not only run contrary to all norms of interstate relations and International Law but also threaten the peace and stability of an already fragile region.
He said Pakistan strongly urges all sides to exercise maximum restraint and avoid further escalation of tensions in the region.
