KARACHI: Pakistan Stock Exchange above the 98,000 mark on Friday as share prices surged more than 2,000 points in intraday trade
Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi says Pakistan attaches importance to its close relations with Bahrain and remains committed to expand this relationship in all spheres of bilateral cooperation.
He expressed these views while meeting with King of Bahrain, Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa in Manama.
The Foreign Minister expressed deep gratitude to the Kingdom of Bahrain for hosting a large number of Pakistani citizens.
He conveyed the warm regards of the President and the Prime Minister to the King of Bahrain, as well as best wishes for the continued progress and prosperity of the brotherly people of Bahrain.
On the occasion, the King of Bahrain expressed appreciation for the contribution made by the Pakistani expatriate community towards progress and economic development of his country.
He also underlined that Bahrain values its historic relationship with Pakistan and desires to further augmenting the bilateral relationship for mutual benefit.
