KARACHI: Pakistan Stock Exchange above the 98,000 mark on Friday as share prices surged more than 2,000 points in intraday trade
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has been ranked at 105th place out of 149 countries on the World Happiness Index 2021.
According to the World Happiness Report 2021 compiled by the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network, Pakistan fares better than its neighbor India which has been placed in 139th position.
For the fourth consecutive year, Finland has come out as the top-ranked country on the World Happiness Index. Finland is followed by Iceland, Denmark, Switzerland, and the Netherlands in second, third, fourth, and fifth positions respectively.
Meanwhile, Israel has been ranked 11th, Australia at 12th, the US at 14th, Canada at 15th, the UK at 18th, and France at 20th on the World Happiness Index 2021.
Saudi Arabia has been placed in 21st position, the UAE at 27th, Kyrgyzstan at 33th, Bahrain at 35th, Kazakhstan at 36th, and Japan at 40th on the 2021 World Happiness Index.
