LAHORE: Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif on Saturday declared that a decision to bring a no-confidence motion against the Imran Khan government will be taken after creating a “consensus” among the opposition parties.
“No-confidence motion against the government will only be brought with a consensus [among the opposition parties],” the PML-N president said in a talk with journalists after he visited the residence of party lawmaker Bilal Yasin to inquire after him.
Mr Yasin was injured in an armed attack some two weeks ago.
To a question that why Prime Minister Imran Khan wanted him behind the bars in a money laundering case, Shehbaz said: “It is said that I am a nightmare for Imran Niazi.”
He said Pakistan never witnessed such an inflation, price hike, unemployment etc in its history and held Imran Khan responsible for this. He condemned the mini-budget which he said would bring another round of inflation.
