KARACHI: Pakistan Stock Exchange above the 98,000 mark on Friday as share prices surged more than 2,000 points in intraday trade
National Electric Power Regulatory Authority has notified 3.60 rupees per unit decrease in power tariff for agriculture consumers.
The tariff from has been decreased from 16.60 rupees per unit to 13 rupees at the request of Ministry of Power.
The decrease would be applicable to all agri consumers of WAPDA power distribution companies including K-Electric. The consumers would get relief of 28 billion rupees and the federal government would provide a subsidy in this regard. It would apply to the billing month of November
