KARACHI: Pakistani model, actor and producer Momal Sheikh has said that her father – Javed Sheikh – did not want her to join the showbiz industry before marriage.

The 34-year-old said her father had told her to join the industry with permission of her husband after marriage, which she eventually did and is now enjoying her professional life.

Momal Sheikh said she inherited acting from her parents. Although my father did not encourage me to become an actor, but also did not prohibit me from joining the industry, she said.
