KARACHI: Model Farwa Ali Kazmi has tested positive for COVID-19. Taking to Instagram, she announced the news and wrote: “I am COVID positive. Everybody who has been in touch with me or Ali in the past week, please quarantine yourself.”
She further adds, “All those with cough, body aches and headaches but no fever, please get yourself tested. I had delayed it thinking its seasonal cold but it’s not.”
Farwa further said that she thinks she got it by “sharing food and cigar with a COVID-positive.”
Farwa has walked the ramp at major fashion weeks, including Bridal Couture Week, Fashion Pakistan Week, PFDC Sunsilk Fashion Week and PFDC L’Oréal Bridal Week and has done shoots for Gul Ahmed, Élan, Khaadi and Nishat Linen.
Following a portfolio shoot with Khawar Riaz, Farwa first walked the ramp at PLBW 2013, which is where designer dynamos Kamiar Rokni and Rehan Bashir discovered her, with the latter referring to her as his ‘muse’.
