Maari Petroleum Company Ltd announces new hydrocarbon discovery in Sindh
Maari Petroleum Company Ltd has announced a new hydrocarbon discovery in Sindh.
A statement by the Company says gas discovery was made in Mari Lease Area, District Ghotki, Sindh.
The well was successfully drilled down to the depth of 1,250 meters into Sui Main Limestone formation and was tested at the rate of 3.127 million standard cubic feet per day gas, 79 barrels per day of water.
The discovery of Iqbal Well-1 is the sixth consecutive discovery in Mari Development area.
