KARACHI: Pakistan Stock Exchange above the 98,000 mark on Friday as share prices surged more than 2,000 points in intraday trade
KUWAIT: Emir of Kuwait Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah accepted the resignation tendered by Prime Minister Sabah Al Khalid Al Sabah today (Sunday).
The state news agency KUNA said that the resignation is part of routine procedure after the general election that took place yesterday. The news agency said that the emir asked the cabinet to stay on in a caretaker capacity until a new government is appointed.
