Japan lauds Pakistan's efforts to facilitate Afghan peace process
ISLAMABAD: Japan has appreciated Pakistan's significant efforts to facilitate the Afghan peace process.
In an officially released statement, Ambassador of Japan to Pakistan Matsuda Kuninori welcomed the agreement between Afghan government and Taliban and extended his good wishes for further success in Afghan peace process.
Emphasizing the importance and necessity of Pakistan’s contribution towards the peace process, he said Japan would continue to work with Pakistan to strengthen peace and stability in the region.
