Iran, China sign 25-year cooperation pact

TEHRAN: China and Iran signed a 25-year cooperation agreement to establish a roadmap for reciprocal investments in fields of transport, ports, energy, industry and services.

In a ceremony live telecasted on state television, Chinese Foreign Minister, Wang Yi said Beijing's relations with Iran will not be affected by current situation but will be permanent and strategic.

Iranian Media quoted President Hassan Rouhani's Adviser, Hesameddin Ashena saying that the accord is an example of successful diplomacy.
