International Day of Education being observed today
ISLAMABAD: International Day of Education is being observed today [24 January], to create awareness about the role of education for peace and development.
This year's theme of the day is ‘Recover and Revitalize Education for the COVID-19 Generation’.
The UN Secretary-General António Guterres in his message on the occasion stressed the need to do far more to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.
