ISLAMABAD: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Shibli Faraz has said the government will use all legal options to bring Nawaz Sharif back and it is in contact with the United Kingdom government for the purpose.
Talking to a private news channel, he said Nawaz Sharif, an absconder, calls himself the champion of democracy.
Shibli Faraz said the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz has badly destroyed the national institutions and the economy through its policies of nepotism and by looting of the national wealth ruthlessly.
To a question, he said the government has never closed the doors of negotiations with the opposition, but it will not compromise on the accountability of the corrupt.
He said the opposition has started anti-government campaign just to protect their leaderships' personal interests.
