GB has great potential for development of tourism, minerals & agri sectors: President
GILGIT: President Dr Arif Alvi says the government is taking steps to put all parts of the country on path of rapid development and prosperity.
He was presiding over a briefing session of members of Gilgit Baltistan cabinet in Gilgit today (Tuesday).
The President said Gilgit Baltistan has great potential for development of tourism, minerals, hydropower and agriculture sectors which need to be explored.
He said government is launching a package for disabled persons from next month, under which monthly stipend of two thousand rupees will be given to each disabled person.
