ISLAMABAD: Gilgit-Baltistan Chief Minister Muhammad Khalid Khurshid Khan has emphasized for overcoming the climate change impacts in the northern areas of Gilgit-Baltistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa areas.
He was addressing the concluding ceremony of the four-day Disaster Risk Management capacity-building training event held in Islamabad today (Thursday).
He said climate change-caused risks can be tamed with effective policy and enhanced investment for building up climate resilience of the lives, livelihoods and public infrastructures.
