Former Indian President Pranab Mukherjee passes away
NEW DELHI : Former Indian President Pranab Mukherjee died yesterday and today cremated with full state honours.
The 84-year-old former president was hospitalized with a blood clot in his brain. They were also diagnosed with the corona virus.
"With a Heavy Heart , this is to inform you that my father Pranab Mukherjee has just passed away inspite of the best efforts of Doctors of RR Hospital & prayers, duas and prarthanas from people throughout India. I thank all of You," his son Abhijit Mukherjee tweeted.
