PESHAWAR: Estranged leaders of JUI-F have announced to separate their faction from Maulana Fazlur Rehman's group.

Addressing a news conference, along with other estranged leaders, in Islamabad this afternoon, Maulana Muhammad Khan Sheerani said they inherited Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) from their elders and it was Maulana Fazlur Rehman, who established separate group in his own name.

Maulana Sheerani said they are very much there as members of the JUI as per constitution of the party. He said no member will take any step against the Quran and Sunnah.

Without naming Maulana Fazlur Rehman, the estranged leader expressed the resolve to isolate their opponents through tolerance.
