DACCA: An elephant was found dead near a forest in Lohagara upazila of Chattogram this morning.
According to experts ?the male Asian Elephant aged around 25 was found lying at Borhatiya union in the upazila.
Abu Naser Mohammad Yeasin Neyaz, divisional forest officer (wildlife and nature conservation) of forest department said: "Primary inspection suggests it (the elephant) was electrocuted. We will take action against the perpetrator involved in the killing,"
