Minister for Science and Technology Shibli Faraz says the electronic voting system is the only way to hold free, fair and transparent elections.

Talking to a private television channel, he urged the opposition parties to support the government in introducing the electronic voting machine in the next general elections.

He expressed the hope that the opposition parties would avoid tarnishing the image of the country’s institutions and work for national interest.
