Eight rockets target US embassy in Baghdad
BAGHDAD: In Iraq, a volley of rockets has targeted the United States’ embassy in Baghdad’s heavily fortified Green Zone.
In a statement, Iraqi military said an outlawed group launched eight rockets, injuring one Iraqi security person and causing material damage to some cars and a residential complex.
Meanwhile, US embassy in a statement, urged all Iraqi political and government leaders to take steps to prevent such attacks and hold accountable those responsible.
