Covid-19: New Zealand PM postpones general election until Oct 17 amid new outbreak

WELLINGTON: Prime Minister of New Zealand Jacinda Ardern has postponed the general election by four weeks, in the wake of coronavirus cases resurgence.

Speaks at a press conference in Wellington, she said the elections now will be held on 17th October.
