China opposes US bill aimed at removing Chinese companies from US stock exchange

BEIJING: China says it firmly opposes a US bill aimed at removing Chinese companies from US stock exchange as it contains discriminatory provisions.

At a daily news briefing in Beijing, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Wang Wenbin termed the bill as an unjustified political crackdown on Chinese enterprises seriously hindering their normal listing and distorting the basic market economy rules touted by the US.
