Britain, EU agree to continue Brexit trade talks
BRUSSELS: Britain and European Union have agreed to continue Brexit trade talks.
The understanding reached at a meeting between British Prime Minister Borris Johnson and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen in Brussels today (Sunday).
In a joint statement after the meeting, the two sides said it is responsible to go the extra mile as today was the deadline for a decision on whether to continue talks or not with the UK set to leave EU rules at the end of this month.
