Bakhtawar Bhutto gets engaged in small, private ceremony

KARACHI : The engagement ceremony of Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari, daughter of fromer president Aif Ali Zardari and late prime minister Benazir Bhutto, with Mahmood Younas Chaudhary, the son of US-based businessman Younas Chaudhary, was held in Karachi yesterday.

The engagement ceremony was held at Bilawal House, Karachi and was attended by close relatives of the Bhutto and Zardari families. On this occasion, Mahmood Chaudhry and Bakhtawar Bhutto exchanged engagement rings as well.

PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari was unable to attend the ceremony as he has tested positive for coronavirus and is in self-isolation.

The ceremony was held amid strict COVID-19 measures and the guests were asked to get tested for the virus ahead of the event and convey a scanned copy of the results via email.
