Ashrafi, Sarwar call for unity, solidarity in fight against terrorism

LAHORE: Special Representative of Prime Minister on Religious Affairs and Inter-Faith Harmony, Maulana Tahir Ashrafi called on Punjab Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar in Lahore on Wednesday.

During the meeting, they paid homage to the martyrs of Army Public School and stressed on the need of unity and solidarity in the fight against terrorism.

Speaking on occasion, the Punjab Governor said Pakistan has one of the best armed forces in the world and the whole nation is on one page against terrorism.

He said peace and stability in Pakistan is not being digested by India.

On the occasion, Maulana Tahir Ashrafi said the martyrs of the APS Peshawar are heroes of the entire nation.

He said enemies should not undermine Pakistan's desire for peace as our weakness and reiterated that they will not succeed in its nefarious designs.
