Arrangements finalized to hold elections in GB: Shahbaz
GILGIT: Chief Election Commissioner Gilgit-Baltistan Raja Shahbaz Khan has said that all arrangements have been finalized to hold free fair and transparent elections of Gilgit-Baltistan Assembly on 15th of next month.
In a statement he said that Election Commission has arranged three times all parties' conferences and sought suggestions from political parties for holding transparent elections.
Chief Election Commissioner said the recommendations of political parties have been incorporated in the code of conduct for holding free and fair elections.
He said that allegation of pre-poll rigging leveled by some political leaders are baseless.
