GAZA: A Gaza-based journalist, Haneen Ali al-Qutshan, is among those killed by an Israeli strike at the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza, according to Al Jazeera.

Al-Qutshan was killed alongside other members of her family, Al Jazeera reported citing the Wafa news agency.

It said more exclusive videos captured by the Al Jazeera team at the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza show the continuing effort by civil defence workers and residents to dig through the rubble to find more survivors from the latest Israeli strike.

The death toll from the air attack has already risen from 15 to 25.

Haneen Ali al-Qutshan was the 95th Palestinian journalist or media worker killed since the October 7 conflict between Israel and Hamas broke out, according to Palestinian media.

However, al-Qutshan’s name has not yet been included in a separate list prepared by the Committee to Protect Journalists, which previously recorded at least 57 Palestinians, four Israelis, and three Lebanese journalists and media workers killed during the same period, Al Jazeera reported.

A photo posted on X by Palestinian media indicated that she worked for an FM radio station in Gaza. Other Palestinian media identified her by the last name al-Qashtan.

Earlier, it was reported that she was among the 25 people killed in the latest Israeli air attack on the Nuseirat refugee camp. An undetermined number of her family members were also killed.
