Alhamra releases 300 video lectures of “Sarangi”

LAHORE: Alhamra has achieved another success by releasing 300 video lectures on the ancient instrument “Sarangi” in a modern style studio today at Alhamra Arts Center, The Mall Road.

Alhamra being a center of art not only works to improve the future of our music industry, but also keeps alive all antique musical instruments that are becoming rarer in society.

On the occasion, Executive Director Lahore Arts Council Saman Rai said that the most important purpose of making these videos is the survival of this old instrument.

She said that now with the online availability of these300 lectures, anyone from all over the world who wants to learn this art can learn it easily for free at their own home.

She said Alhamra Arts Council successfully facilitating social life by providing opportunities to the youth.
