AJK legislative Assembly approves two bills
MUZAFFARABAD: The AJK legislative Assembly approved two bills today.
These are The AJK Charities Registration, Regulation and Facilitation Act 2020 and The AJK Covid-19(prevention of hoarding) Act, 2020.
The report of the committee on the draft acts was also presented in the house.
Replying to a point raised by member assembly Faiza Ahsan, Leader of the House, Raja Farooq Haider Khan said education and tourism have been re-opened with Covid-19 SOPs.
He said there is an alarming increase in Corona cases in AJK and Muzaffarabad Kotli and Rawalakot are the worst hit districts.
Raja Farooq Haider Khan appealed to the people to observe SOPs in markets, mosques and offices for their own safety.
Later the speaker Shah Ghulam Qadir adjourned the session sine die.
