Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Zayed and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu have been nominated for the next year's Nobel Peace Prize.

Both the leaders were nominated by laureate Lord David Trimble for 2021 Nobel Peace Prize. Trimble, the former First Minister of Northern Ireland, won the prize in 1998 for his efforts to find a peaceful solution to the conflict in Northern Ireland. Israel and the United Arab Emirates agreed in September to normalize relations.

The winner, or winners of the 2021 Nobel Peace Prize, will be announced in October in Oslo.
