LAHORE: Pakistan completed a 3-0 sweep over Bangladesh in the T20 series, thanks to Mohammad Haris’ explosive unbeaten 107 off 46 balls at Gaddafi Stadium. Haris, the first Pakistani non-opener to score a T20I century, powered Pakistan to chase down 197 runs with seven wickets in hand and 16 balls to spare.
After losing opener Sahibzada Farhan early, Haris anchored the innings with aggressive stroke play, hitting eight fours and seven sixes. Supported by contributions from Saim Ayub (45) and Hasan Nawaz (26), Pakistan maintained control throughout the chase.
Earlier, Bangladesh posted 196-6, fueled by a 110-run opening partnership between Parvez Hossain (66) and Tanzid Hasan (42). However, disciplined bowling from Abbas Afridi in the final overs restricted Bangladesh’s scoring.
Haris’ commanding performance earned him Player of the Match honors as Pakistan secured their first home T20 series win since December 2021.
