Sui, Dera Bugti – At least two people were killed and another injured in a remote-controlled bomb blast on Saturday in the Kanjo Saghari area of Sui, located in Balochistan’s troubled Dera Bugti district.
According to Levies officials, the explosive device was planted along a roadside and detonated remotely, targeting passersby. The deceased were identified as Washo and Zahid, while the injured individual, Sada, was shifted to a local hospital for urgent medical treatment.
Law enforcement agencies cordoned off the area soon after the incident and launched a search operation. Authorities have confirmed that a case has been registered, and an investigation is currently underway to identify the perpetrators and their motives.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack so far. The region has witnessed sporadic incidents of violence in the past, often attributed to militant activity and insurgent groups operating in the province.
The local administration has urged residents to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to security forces.
