ISLAMABAD – Pakistan – In the wake of recent militant attacks, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar underlined that Pakistan’s determination to eradicate terrorism remains undiminished. He called the assaults “cowardly” and reiterated that they will only strengthen the nation’s resolve to combat the menace.
Dar addressed the global gathering at the Inter-Parliamentary Speakers’ Conference, emphasising that such acts underscore terrorism’s indifference to borders, religion or ethnicity. “These attacks reaffirm our conviction that dialogue, understanding and partnership are the only sustainable path to peace and security,” he said.
Highlighting the gravity of the situation, he noted that Pakistan is facing “a war for all of the country” and stressed the need for robust international cooperation, including a revival of multilateral efforts based on inclusivity and shared responsibility.
