Fairford, United Kingdom – The Pakistan Air Force (PAF) made a commanding statement on the global stage, clinching top honors at the Royal International Air Tattoo (RIAT) 2025 — the world’s premier military air show held annually at RAF Fairford in the UK.
The PAF’s signature JF-17 Thunder, piloted by Squadron Leader Hasan Siddiqui, won the “Best Individual Flying Display” award, stunning international spectators and aviation experts alike with its high-speed maneuvers, precision turns, and vertical climbs that painted the sky with pride.
The JF-17 Block III, a symbol of Pakistan’s advancing defense technology, was developed in collaboration with China and continues to elevate Pakistan’s position in the global aerospace industry.
In addition to its aerial brilliance, the PAF’s static display drew crowds and commendation from military attachés, engineers, and air show organizers. The PAF team was widely praised for their professionalism, discipline, and engaging presentation, enhancing Pakistan’s reputation in international defense circles.
RIAT 2025 featured participation from over 50 countries, yet it was Pakistan’s flag that flew the highest in the hearts of many as the crowd erupted in applause during the award ceremony.
The achievement underscores the Pakistan Air Force’s continued legacy of excellence, innovation, and aerial supremacy, further solidifying its place among the world’s elite air forces.
